| So You Wanna Where I have Been ? |
2005-02-18So You Wanna Where I have Been ?Been busy as a bee lately. Doing all of the following things:
1. Enjoying the day that was my 24th birthday. (I'm not kidding about that table either. They decided in their great wisdom to take out the regular tables to make way for these small, barbie sized tables. The food was great but the seat arrangements were questionable.) 3. Enjoying my newest additions to my already overflowing dvd collection. I got May.. Phantom of the Opera (1989).. Re-Animator.. Halloween: 25th Edition.. and Bubba Ho Tep. 4. Collecting winning iTunes Pepsi caps from my co-workers at work. :) (It's almost too easy to convince people to hand them over. Most of the time they stare at me and ask "So let me get this striaght? You want this Pepsi cap? Why?" Then I, of course go on to explain the beauty that is "iTunes" to only recieve a blank look. Some people just don't get it.) 5. Sleeping. I have slept a lot this week. I don't know exactly why, but from the minute I get home I go straight to sleep and continue to sleep the whole day. We're talking 10 am to 10pm. That's a lot of time to spend sleeping. 9:41 a.m.2005-02-12We all are Music WhoresI'm making out like a bandit with those Pepsi "Free iTunes" caps.
9:18 a.m.2005-02-04Fly By FebruaryFebruary has just got here and it already feels like it is flying by.On February 9th, my other half's birthday is upon me, and I sadly haven't got anything to give him. They are cutting back hours at work since everyone won't fall back into mass buying mood until they get their income tax checks. Then shortly right after that... BAM!.. February the 13th rolls around and I find myself one year older. The big old .. 24! Then Valetine's Day is the next day. It barely gives you time to breathe or take a sigh.
6:42 p.m.2005-02-03Where the Magic HappensWe just recently found the USB wire for my digital camera after several months of it being lost. So now I too, can take pictures and post them the same day instead of waiting for months.

3 people that must do this meme 8:21 a.m.2005-01-24Double Shot of LonlinessLoneliness is deadly.Match loneliness with a double shot of self doubt with a twist of uncertainty and you are hop and skip from depression. Or at lease, that's how it seems to work in my life. The loneliness stems from the lack of communication ( and perhaps attention) from my close friends. Everyone seems to be in their own little worlds, and those worlds don't come with internet access, phone or post offices. I try to keep in touch with each of them, though my patience is getting thin. I'll send them a nice, little e-mail every once in a while to let them know that I'm thinking of them and that I love them to only get back a damn e-mail chain letter or "100 Things" survey for the 100th time. That's so insulting to me! Okay.. I actually take the damn time to write a heart felt e-mail/letter and all you send me back is a survey of your favorite things??!! WTF?!! I'm your friend. I already know your favorite color/ tv show/ movie etc... I try to call too. And again, they either never pick up the phone or someone else answers. They swear up and down that they will get that message, but they never do. So this is how it feels to be blacklisted. Dramatic.. I know, but it feels like that sometimes. It got so bad that my boyfriend and I decided to hold back our wedding for another year, because we could not get a hold of anyone. Shoot... My friends haven't even picked up their Christmas presents, for pete sakes. It bothers me. it bothers me a lot. And I would tell them that.. if they were ever around. And I would tell them that I have been alone. Emotionally. Empty. I feel bad for my boyfriend. He tries to make me feel better, by saying that he'll be my friend and that he'll hang out with me. (Smile) But (sigh) it's not the same thing, though I wish it were. As much as I love my boyfriend/ soon to be husband.. he can never replace that feeling of female friends. There is just something that happens when you put a close knit group of girls together. The ability to talk freely without a censoring yourself. To share a laugh over some coffee and share that common bond. I miss that. 3:13 p.m.2005-01-22California MumblingWoo Hoo, people I'm back in business!Diaryland finally got to my request to "regenerate" my blog back up after their server move. And guess what? I have nothing to really write about. Other then I have the night off tonight. Wonders what to do with it? Did I mention that I also got paid today as well? <<< Insert evil Grin here >>>> Shopping.. Do you hear it calling?! Cause I do. It's telling me to shop 'till I drop... or something like that.. But I'll probably just come home with cleaning supplies to clean the house with. I'm very sad. The boyfriend is right. Miss Tay needs a hobby and right away. 1:57 p.m.2005-01-21D-Land Down?Is diaryland working or what?3:43 a.m.2005-01-12does this ever happen to you in the workplace? Is it too much trouble for people to wear some deodorant?I have noticed a trend at my job that people choose to skip on the deodorant. Why is this? I could understand this more if you have a nice cozy office job where you just type, drink coffee and gossip next to the water cooler. But when your job consists of warehouse work and some (or alot) of heavy lifting, why would you not wear it? I don't know about you all out there in blogland, but that's one of the first things I do when getting dressed. I suppose I just thought it was a part of the normal daily routine of one's day, like brushing your hair and teeth. Some of these people's BO is really bad too. One person walked by me and I almost thought I was going puke. The smell followed behind them like a imaginary sea of green and smacked me across the face. 9:54 p.m.2005-01-02Disturbing and Just So DepressingI'm all for hearing your favorite artists/bands in new and interesting ways....But really, in order to hear any Violent Femmes' songs, do I really have to sit through a Showtime preview of "Fat Actress" with Kirstie Alley singing "Fat" by VF. I was walking by the television, coffee in hand... seeing that image in my head. Cringe. It gives yet another reason to fucking hate Showtime. (The first one of course being that they decided to cancel "Dead Like Me"... One of the greatest shows on cable next to "Monk".) 10:36 a.m. |
