It's always raining on me

I was so miserable yesterday.

I was waiting for the bus after a very long day. And did I mention it was raining... We are talking a long, hard downpour right onto Miss Tay's head.

I love the rain.. when I'm not in it.

Christmas Eve Eve

So I'm almost done Christmas shopping, are you?

I still have to wait until tomorrow to pick up my paycheck and ..sigh.. brave the crowded "Christmas Eve" rush.

I'm thinking about taking a solid list with me, so I don't lose my mind once I'm inside the mall itself. So many people.. So many crying children.. so many shopping carts making that god awful shriek...

Baby Mordrid

Well, I found out last night the name of Danny Elfman/Bridget Fonda's baby boy.

Brace yourselves: It's a "Mordrid".

And somehow, I'm not the lease bit surprized by that name.

Richard Elfman spilled the beans during a recent live chat via the Oingo Boingo site.

He also let people know that he is going to be married for what feels like the 6th time.

You gotta hand it to Richard, he loves himself the women.

CD mix thoughts

I have been toying around with the idea of doing some more cd mixes. (As if I don't have enough already..)

But I can't think of any ideas. Have we, the cd mixers of the world went to the well once too often? Have we went through all the odd and quirky that we could use in the pursuit of musical bliss?

So I'm turning to the people -- the cd mixers - the bloggers of the world to post your ideas for a good cd mix. Traditional.. Odd.. Quirky.. They are all welcomed here.

Post Office - Hell on Earth?

Keep repeating to yourself Tay...

"You will go to the post office. You WILL go down to the damned post office. You have Christmas cards to send out, along with some cd mixes.

Who cares that you are going to spend an hour in line, behind that old lady who can NEVER place her gifts in the right type of packaging... Hence making your wait longer. Much longer.

Or don't forget about the lady who promptly goes to lunch as soon as you reach her window...

The Night Belongs to Me

Today (or rather tonight) is my day off. Isn't that super?

I haven't had a day off in what seems like ages. Because I am "seasonal" darling, I have been working myself into a freezy to hopefully wow the powers that be enough to stay apart of the Target on a more solid basis. And that usually involves a lot of overtime.

I plan to spend my night off surfing the web (I got a cable modem in my bedroom now -- there no words that can describe my joy).. Watch old episodes of Sex and the City and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.. Catch up on reading my friends blogs.. Finish uploading all my files onto this computer.. Visit varous bit torrent sites and get my New Wave groove on (Wham! anyone?)
